Hello!

New here! I am from Boston, and am a registered nurse. I love singing karaoke, musical theatre and cooking. Am an avid lover of all things colonial American and the Revolutionary War. Any suggestions on books would be greatly appreciated!

My all time favorite novel, though not technically HF is The Mists of Avalong by Marion Zimmer Bradley

Having trouble finding a colonial America topic and I'm on the run. Some suggestions:

Eugenia Price has written several series set in colonial America. https://www.goodreads.com/series/list?i ... enia_Price. Note, she's not preachy, but I would mark the ones that I have read as Christian Fiction.

Deepwater by Pamela Jekel.

The Carolina Chronicles by Ingles Fletcher. I've only read the first one and it was very good. Don't let any racey covers fool you, no bodices were ripped. https://www.goodreads.com/series/44476- ... ical-order

Celeste de Blasis has a great trilogy that begins in colonial era and finishes up turn of the 20C IIRC. There are some strong romantic elements, so if that's not your cuppa, pass these by. https://www.goodreads.com/series/65719- ... an-trilogy

https://www.goodreads.com/series/58238-de-kuypers. Old New York. I've only read the first one and I hear the latter books peter out, but worth the time to read book #1.

Sorry to go OT, but if I didn't list these I would forget. Let me know if we have a Colonial thread or if I should start one and moderate myself :P
