I never saw it. Also never saw Jaws. I read both way before they were movies. The books themselves scared me enough; I didn't need to add to that experience!

Still amazes me tho that parents actually took their very young children to see Jurassic. One parent of one of my students told me her child didn't get much sleep that night and she was keeping him home from school. Apparently they took this FOUR YEAR OLD to see it and he had nightmares all night. Good going mom.

Some Parents!.....I thought "Jurassic Park"on the big screen was way toooooo loud......and I have experienced many many Rock concerts and this film nearly drove me to leave......Can't imagine the sound and the visuals to a four year; must have been terrifying......

Harm wasn't even 1 yet when it came out (it was 8 days before her 1st birthday). I went to it once by myself and then again with my mother who I made the mistake of sitting next to cause during one scene she nearly yanked my arm off!

I worked at a movie theatre when one of the Jurassic movies came out. I told one woman to whom I sold tickets that there would be no refunds for terrified children, because the dinosaurs were not stuffed toys, and actually ate people.

Guess who came by, halfway through the movie, looking for a refund? :(

lol, I remember seeing it in an Imax in DC I don't remember it being scary but I was a teen then so it could have been traumatic for a child. I don't let my girls watch it even though their dino crazy hence we will be seeing Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaur next Saturday, more age appropriate.

Scorsese's The Age of Innocence. Not awful but completely skippable. Book is just much, much better.

Watched the re make of Monte Walsh....A great Western and a great story(not your typical Oater)....Tom Selleck, Keith Carradine and Isabella Rossellini......The Cowboy's way of life is coming to an end, story about two friends that realize the times are changing and they begrudgingly have to adjust....Great characters, scenes, horsemanship and scenery it's as good as it gets....Does honor to 1970's Lee Marvin and Jack Palance "Monte Walsh".....Overall one TS best roles.....The only other actor that would do justice to MW, would be Sam Elliot.......BTW Jack Shaeffer 1907-1991 wrote the "Shane and Monte Walsh" excellent writer....

I saw the wrestler the other day. That was completly sad, though a good movie. A bit rough in some spots though.

Gone Baby Gone - good thriller with plenty of twists.
