I'd be interested in what you think about "The Ugly Truth", and if it's viewable for 17 year olds (Harm is 17).

Not a movie, but the 1st season of the BritCom "Father Ted", a hilarious series about 3 displaced Catholic priests on a very remote island in the English Channel. There is only 3 seasons and the main star died not long after the season 3 ended, he wasn't that old, sad.

Oh, Father Ted is hilarious! Yes, it is very sad that Dermot Morgan died so young. The lady who plays Mrs Doyle, Pauline McLynn, is also an author. It's amazing what they can do with stage make-up!

We watched 'Changeling' at the weekend. It's a good film but quite disturbing. I had to go out of the room at a certain point.

Father Ted was funny! I always got a laugh out from Father Frank (?) "Drink!" The guy that played Father Frank also had an Irish 12 Days of Christmas song that is very funny. We used to listen to it every year on christmas day. Will have to get a copy of it and revive the tradition.

Oh yes Father Ted was good, the actor who played the very scruffy Father Jack is very smart in real life, and yes Pauline McLynn is completely unrecognisable from Mrs Doyle. It was very sad about Dermot Morgan.

there's an exceptionally hilarious episode where they go on holiday in a caravan, and Graham Norton guest-starred and ended up riverdancing in the caravan - unforgettable!

I watched Duplicity last nite, starring Julia Roberts and Owen. Waste of my time, in my opinion there was no depth in the movie. But i could just stare all day at Mr. Owen =)

Ms. Doyle was so obsessed with getting people too drink tea (or something else or eating something). I love it with Father Jack would got "Feck!". Just a great show, and Harm is enjoying it too. I watched episodes years ago on BBC Am I believe.

What's your impression?

I liked the first one, and the second wasn't too terrible.

Based on what I heard from my Mom, I'm not anxious to see number 3.
