lol -- And speaking honestly, there's only so much actual realism that we could stand in a book or a film. No matter how brave and stalwart the hero, we're so indocrinated to expect good teeth that we'd all barf if Hero Harry had missing front teeth and the remaining ones were yellow stumps. Even if he had just rescued the heroine from a train, delivered premature triplets in the back of a buckboard being pulled by a runaway team of horses, saved the President from assassination, or stopped the nuclear destruction of the world.

He has to have a nice smile. That's why it's fiction!!!!

Just saw The King's Speech. I loved it. That is what a movie is supposed to be.

I saw the Social Network on a long overseas flight and I wasn't impressed. Personally, there was nothing special about it, so I don't understand all the accolades. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.

Catch and Release. I was pleasantly surprised by really liking this movie. Thought it would be stupid and fluffy, but it wasn't. Even laughed more than I usually would with this kind of story.

Finally saw Ridley Scott's Robin Hood on DVD last night. The action carried me through, but the movie left me vaguely dissatisfied. I didn't have any problem with messing with the timeline; authors and producers do that all the time with iconic characters. I think it was Robin's backstory and the link to the Magna Carta (I won't say more to avoid spoilers) that didn't work for me. Didn't seem necessary for the story.

Watched the Young Victoria this morning. :)
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Lost In Austen. Hilarious. Brilliantly cast. Looooove this Mr. Darcy. There are some goofs in the writing, but they are easily forgiven. Hugh Bonneville makes a wonderful Mr. Bennet. Watching it a second time and still laughing, which is rare for me.
