- Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Saw Jennifer Aniston in The Switch. Predictable but mildly enjoyable with Jeff Goldblum at his typically quirky best. Much potential to be a great screwball comedy but fell short. Needed better casting and directing.
Bodo the Apostate, a novel set during the reign of Louis the Pious and end of the Carolingian Empire.

"Ten Canoes" FINALLY hit the top of my interminable DVD list on Netflix; a nice meditation on storytelling, and the ways we find to fight wars with near strangers.
"To be the queen, she agreed to be the widow!"

Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I admit I haven't seen the whole thing. Got it mainly for the kids. It's ok.
I'm still watching On The Town repeatedly, but I think I'll send it back tomorrow. I'm annoying the heck out of my husband by singing the songs. He's not really very happy that I'm picking up the songs from Into The Woods either.
