Last night I watched Colossus: the Forbin Project -- a computer-takes-over-the-world movie from 1968. OMG, it was a screech! Teletypes, yet!

Saw Jennifer Aniston in The Switch. Predictable but mildly enjoyable with Jeff Goldblum at his typically quirky best. Much potential to be a great screwball comedy but fell short. Needed better casting and directing.

The Triumph of Love. Saw it this afternoon.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

"Ten Canoes" FINALLY hit the top of my interminable DVD list on Netflix; a nice meditation on storytelling, and the ways we find to fight wars with near strangers.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I admit I haven't seen the whole thing. Got it mainly for the kids. It's ok.

I'm still watching On The Town repeatedly, but I think I'll send it back tomorrow. I'm annoying the heck out of my husband by singing the songs. He's not really very happy that I'm picking up the songs from Into The Woods either.

I went to see The Help. Great job, it caught the book's tension, the fear in all those maids.

Last movie I saw was Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Awesome as always.
