I've been watching 27 Dresses this week whenever I needed some relief from the bad news. I now have the Elton John song "Benny and the Jets" stuck in my head, and have had it there for at least a couple of days!

Nights in Rodanthe?

never seen thee or touched thee
but known thee with all of my heart.

thou hast always been with me,
though we have been always apart." Man of LaMancha

Watched Miss Austen Regrets, a very interesting bio-pic compiled around the letters of Miss Austen and the marrying of her niece Fanny Knight. Great for fans of Jane Austen, and -much- better than Becoming Jane.

Saw Appaloosa w/ Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, and Renee Zeilwegger...it was okay, a bit disappointing b/c I really like all three actors. It was slow moving...

Also saw The Savages w/ Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney - again, two great actors, but it was rather depressing. The both gave great performances, but I found the movie lacking.

Alright, this is moving up in my queue.

Started watching The Other Boleyn Girl last night. I can see why so many people dislike it. If you don't think about the book at all, it's not so bad. That particular novel would have made a better miniseries I think.

BTW has anybody seen the "other" The Other Boleyn Girl from the 1980s? Jodhi May starred in it. Netflix says there's a very long wait for it, and I'm wondering if it's any good.

The "first" "The Other Boleyn Girl" came out in 2003, not the 80s.
