MLE I had trouble watching that one too. I wouldn't even mind the love story if the production had been better. I think I remember really disliking the screenplay.

Brideshead Revisited. It got dire reviews, but I quite liked it.

Last night I watched Australia. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either! I think I would have liked to have seen it on the big screen just for the scenery.

"The Day the Earth Stood Still" (remake), it was ok. Keenu, great choice for a guy who doesn't show emotions.

Watched a WWII film called "Overlord" 2007....a Docu/Drama....interesting concept of weaving real footage of British troops training for D Day....(Outstanding footage of the Blitz and the fire storms of London burning)....The story is a young Draftee training and experiencing the "Hurry Up and Wait" attitude that gives the film a real feel for the military machine and the bureaucracy that goes with War(dehumanizing)....You sense his impending doom that he is not going to get out alive....Filmed in Black and White...very little action.....The bonus materials supplied by the Military museum film archives(clear as a bell) are outstanding and so interesting from a Historic standpoint.....The film has a Anti War feel to it....but really worth a watch......

Australia. I liked it. Common it has Hugh it. Although more shirtless shots would have been nice. ;)

Watched In Bruges - Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell were absolutely brilliant. I haven't seen many films like that one - loved it though. And Bruges - does it look as fairy tale as in this movie? I just ordered the soundtrack - the piano melodies are fantastic.

I was wondering if I should get this movie or not. Keenu is nice to look at, but that boy can't act!
