Today's episode - WOW. So powerful. They made an excellent choice casting Lord John.

Interest in HF: The first historical novel I read was Katherine by Anya Seton and this sparked off my interest in this genre.
Favourite HF book: Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell!

Liking David Berry as Lord John! And I did shed a few tears at the end. :cry: And an interesting resurrection of a certain someone! :D Good episode.

Another great episode. The actor playing Lord John is just rocking the house down IMO.

Preferred HF: I like a series the best - more to look forward to after one book ends. Masters of Rome, The Century Trilogy, & the Outlander series are some of my favorites.

I so agree that the actor playing Lord John is fabulous! Lord John is my favorite character from the books, so I'm glad to see him close to how I'd pictured him. I can't believe how they are speeding though events this season. It's almost too fast! I need more time to savor it all slowly :D

I know they have a lot of ground to cover and get it all in, but yes - I hate seeing things rushed. I so would have loved seeing more of Jamie with young William. I want more!
