Little Women: 2018 US Broadcast
I read that Lousia Alcott's novel Little Women will be adapted and broadcasted for PBS's "Masterpiece" in 2018. The novel has been adapted as a movie in 1933, 1949, and 1994.

Yay! So looking forward to this.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Re: Little Women: 2018 US Broadcast
I thought Emily Watson was very good in this. It seemed to me that they jammed in some material from Alcott's later novels, unless I have misremembered these, which I suppose is possible. I'm curious how other readers remember these novels if you read them as children and what you thought of them at the time - I enjoyed Little Women, but found Little Men and Jo's Boys disappointing.

Recently watched it. I liked the mini series, but still like the 1994 movie a little more.

Saw in the paper the other day that yet another film version is being made, this time with Meryl Streep as Marmee.
