Watched the final episode just now. Ernst is back (yay) and we even get to hear him sing a bit.

Did anyone watch the "Victoria: After Party" after the show? Daisy Goodwin, Rufus Sewell, and the costume designers were interviewed. There was also a look at the production of season 2.
In between PBS pledge pitching, I changed the channel.

I did not, but will see if it's still available to watch.

BTW, while I haven't enjoyed much of the downstairs storyline, I did like young Brodie (sp?) and his quotes from Shakespeare. I wouldn't mind seeing more from that young man. Lol, the Baroness trying to interview wet nurses, and I did notice the tension between her and Albert ramping up.

In honor of Queen Victoria's birthday, here's an early look for 2nd season! This short video shows Victoria and Albert are at the baptism of their baby daughter. (Note: video may not play outside of the US)

When will PBS be getting season 2?
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Think they're showing it in the UK in the autumn, so after that? Not sure how many episodes there are.

No release date has been announced, but I bet in January or February 2018. Here's a preview from the PBS website in celebration of Victoria Day, showing the christening of Victoria, Princess Royal on her parents' first anniversary. Queen Victoria was just pregnant (or about to be pregnant) with her second child. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/cli ... irst-look/

I think we have to wait until next year?

I do like the way Albert is being portrayed, so much love in his eyes for the child (and Victoria).

Not long for the UK fall premiere for the show then!
