Well, folks, the final season of "Downton Abbey" starts this Sunday at 9 pm (Eastern) here in US!
It should be interesting to see what happens...

It's not bad actually, and the Xmas special ended well too. Enjoy!

Quite sad it's all ended but all good things come to an end, I suppose!

Currently watching. Hughes are Carson are adorable.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Thoughts on the finale last night?
It was really good and the show ended on a high note. I liked the "thank you" video at the end.
About those blasted pre-taped pledge pitches... I hit the remote as that started.
Update: To fellow US forum members, I came across a traveling exhibit of the clothes worn on the show. Check out the schedule for the city nearest you.

I thought it was a splendid ending!!! I DVRed it (10:40PM is a bit late for me as I have to get up at 5:00AM) and just finished watching it. I tried (unsuccessfully) not to look at the Facebook posts from some of my friends who watched it last night. However, I knew about Edith since the summer. We stayed in England in a house in Oxfordshire the whole of last July. The woman we rented from was an extra on Downton Abbey and she told me about Edith, so no one spoiled it for me

- Preferred HF: I like a series the best - more to look forward to after one book ends. Masters of Rome, The Century Trilogy, & the Outlander series are some of my favorites.

Liked the finale. Was amused at Violet's reaction to Spratt's other job.
