I was intrigued to note that Kit Harington (GoT's Jon Snow) has some illustrious ancestors, including Elizabethan courtier, Sir John Harington.

Apparently he did some heavy-duty training to add 12kg (over 26lbs for the decimally challenged) of muscle to his naturally lean frame before he took on Pompeii. Impressive!

I saw going to see Pompeii, but it's not in theaters anymore.

Indeed, I think my jaw literally dropped when he first walked into the first scene, lol!
