I'm watching the first episode. And last for me. I'm amazed.
Leaving aside all the historical inventions of which I have very little idea, what I'm seeing here is appealing.

Men seem to be dressed quite correctly for the 16th century.

Now women... omg I've spotted at least 4 different styles from the women filling the background.

And Mary and her friends why are they wearing these american prom dresses? And why does it look like their hair hasn't seen a comb in their lives? And qhy are they dancing disco music at that wedding? (Seriously??) And what kind of ladies in waiting are those that are never around?
I bet Mary wasn't alone for one second in her entire life.

I missed the pilot episode (when aired here in the US) since I had to work that evening.
Of the cast, two names were familiar. Megan Fellows--I remember her as Anne Shirley Blythe from the "Anne of Green Gables" series. Anna Popwell (I'm misspelling here) was in the 1st 2 "Chronicles of Narnia" movies as Susan.

Same here. I missed it too. I would like to see the first episode. Maybe they will rerun it?

I don't know if they're going to rerun it on the air, but you can see the pilot episode online on the CW site:
