I enjoyed TOBG for what it was: brain candy. But they really messed up with the big screen version. Totally turned it around to be Anne's story when it was supposed to be Mary's. And yes the confession cam idea was a bad one in the TV movie.

Haven't read her Cousins book so I guess I'm out of the casting discussions. Shame. I love casting things.

To be honest in PG's book TOBG. I positively disliked the 'courtier' smiling Mary Boleyn, she came across as a self interested back stabbing fake. I preferred the more visceral Anne who made no bones about what she was after. But it is a novel not a biography and as you said it is sheer brain cand and sometimes you need an easy read.

And LOL@ Vanessa, after seeing that photo and thinking the woman looks just like Sean Bean I then thought....poor thing :D :D>>needs to go to spec savers :D soon! :D
