This is going to be good. When will it be available in the UK?

Usually day after the US on Amazon Prime. So far they're in the middle of showing S1 on mainstream TV in the UK.

Just starting to watch. Starz subscription via Amazon made it available to view sometime overnight. I will spoiler tag some thoughts, but for those who have read the books shouldn't have any surprises. Note: it does begin with Culloden and being Starz it's pretty bloody. Eat first or afterwards.

Note, the Starz subscription through Amazon is $9.95/month and can be canceled and restarted at any time. Watch from PC, laptop, etc.

That episode was so intense, on both storylines. Wow, just wow.

This post contains frank discussion of Outlander Season 3, Episode 1, “The Battle Joined.” If you’ve not yet watched the latest episode of Starz’s time-traveling Scottish romance, now is the time to leave.

Well worth reading after you've watched the first episode.

Great episode, wasn't it!? Interesting article - thanks. It was just the birthing scene which got me when they anaesthetised Claire. I found that very strange. How they got the baby out without a Caesarian makes my mind boggle!

It was called twilight sleep birth and was quite common at the time. Babies were removed with forceps. Google it for more information.
