Minoan and Mycenaean Seals

Post by lauragill » Mon November 18th, 2013, 2:18 am

A Twitter follower turned me onto this wonderful corpus of Mycenaean and Minoan seals. Amazing illustrations of seals and seal fragments I had never seen before. So if anyone is curious to see/needs a reference for what kind of seals a lesser official or someone who isn't a king or priestess might have had, this is the site for it. Lots of animals, geometric designs, spirals, some mazes (!), even what looks like hieroglyphics.
