Secret societies of the Victorian era

Post by njslater » Sun November 2nd, 2014, 12:18 pm

The Victorians were obsessed with the secret society, the esoteric and spiritual. Does anyone know of any reference works or websites on this subject? This world features in fiction too and I would be interested to know of readers experiences of the subject.

Interest in HF: I love history, but it's boring in school. Historical fiction brings it alive for me.
