Nowhere I worked had regular access to a computer in which I could use the internet during slow times. So lunch breaks with books were my reading time.

We're a pretty small company, not so rigid as with the big corporations. Besides, the boss is the worst example with his ITunes and FB

While I wait for my new books to come in the post, I'm reading The Falcons of Montabard. How soon after the Winter Mantle is it set?
The first Chadwick books I ever bought were The Wild Hunt, The Running Vixen, and Shields of Pride. Because I thought Shields was in that series.

At the end of The Winter Mantle there's a tiny baby comes into the story. That is Sabin. IIRC, you get a short glimpse of characters from the latter part of TWM in Falcons.
Off note, I was surprised how differently Outremer was pronounced from what I always had it in my head. I'd never heard it out loud until we went to Sharon's book signing last year.

So, that would make it early 12th century. Where is Montabard in that time period? I don't think it would be France proper yet.

Been a while, but I believe Montabard is one of the strongholds in Outremer. Where's EC when we need her?

Got my new books from the post yesterday. Now I have 18 Chadwick novels.
