I gave away some books before I moved. Okay, lots of books. Though these are novels I already liked by a favourite author, so I think they'll stay around for a while.
My vision is fine (I don't need reading glasses yet), so I don't need an e-reader for that. I do read some classics on the Gutenberg site, but those are ones the library (or myself) don't have. Reading titles on my computer for free is fun.

I now have a nearly full set of Chadwick books (pretty sure I mentioned which ones), and Penman books on my shelf. They look very nice there.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I'm so relieved at the books I've cleared off the shelves. I can actually see the ones I had stacked at the back now
PS, another benefit to Kindle is it's much easier to sneak a few pages on a slow work day on the Kindle PC app as opposed to that ever-so-easy-to-spot book in one's hand.

The lunch hour is when you should bring out the books. At least it was for me. One of my bookshelves has two levels of historical fiction.

There's many a slow work day I'd rather take off and use up for vacation, but we don't have that many employees at all times left to answer phones. I don't even get an undisturbed half hour lunch ever.

I thought you were supposed to be allowed certain break times depending on hours. On full days, I got an hour.

Yeah, they're supposed to but it isn't always practical. There's the trade off of not counting every minute of every personal time taken, or leaving a bit early here and there.
