It's a doorstopper. I just got home from her book signing, she is great with answering questions and telling stories.

Good news- I got the book from the library. It even fits on the bookshelf. :D

Now if only I could win a copy to own.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

will anyone admit to being somewhat teary at the end of this book. Eleanor's words about her children at the end nearly did this for me.

Has to be in the top three sad moments from a SKP novel. My other two were Richard III demise at Redmore Plain and the fate of Ellen de Montfort. Actually The Reckoning had me in tears for most of the last part.

Don't think so...usually takes a year from when the hardcover is released.

Just a heads-up, Sharon Kay Penman is doing a Q&A on her Goodreads profile today about A King's Ransom and her other books.

Actually, I might end up getting the hardcover edition for Winter Solstice. It goes better with my copy of Lionheart.
