For those of you with ebook readers, my mom's friend told her about a website that will find limited-time offers of free/cheap ebooks. Cheap seems to mean no more than $2.99 USD. You sign up with an email address, indicate the type of reader you have or where you want them to look for the deals, and tick the genres you like and PRESTO! I've already gotten my first email. Seems it's once a day since the subject of the email is: 'Your eBook bargains for Monday'. Five books are listed (I think I chose three genres); three are cheap and two are free. Two of them sound intriguing enough to get.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
