Downton Abbey Spoof

Post by Alisha Marie Klapheke » Mon February 6th, 2012, 7:07 pm

Okay, I love DA and I believe I'm not alone here. That being said, Saturday Night Live did a spoof on the show that left me in tears. It's so funny.

You have to watch the video at the end of the article.

That was pretty funny. I've only seen the first episode, and liked it.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Having not yet seen DA, do you think I should watch the spoof now or wait?

Yeah, you can certainly enjoy it without having seen DA. Still funny. What kills me is that my husband and I watch fights on Spike--the channel SNL was imitating. I just have to laugh when I step back and examine the differences in my interests.

That was my favorite part too. :D

Applied to Pride & Prejudice: Five daughters named Hot, Hotter, Very Hot, Wowza, and the other one.

Go to you tube, and type in Downton Abbey Spoof as your search, and there's a hysterical bit titled "Sh*t the Dowager Countess Says" that had me rolling. And all sorts of parodies.
