Thanks everybody for your support and good wishes. We got home last night. It will be an adjustment, but so far he's doing pretty well with the changes. Had some nasty incidents in the hospital (due partly to being off his medications). None of that at home yet.

So very sorry about your news MLE! I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Glad you're both home, LH, and that your son is doing well.

Good to hear LH. Hopefully now that he is in a more familiar place, things will calm down a bit! Crossing my fingers for you all!

Lost a friend to the election and a double standard. Apparently when he challenges my views it's perfectly ok (which to me it always has been) but when I challenge his it is somehow a personal attack.

Its horrible how politics divide us so. :(

Yes, and it divides people too - doesn't always work both ways!

Four weeks since my hernia surgery, and it seems that my nice clean healed incision has decided to rebel, so I went off to the GP yesterday. She called me today and has talked to my surgeon, and she told me to go off to hospital. So here I am, admitted into hospital, feeling fine, but with a oozy wound and bored waiting to see the surgeon as to what happens now. GP said there was a good chance I might have to have the op done again as my body might be rejecting the mesh they used to reinforce the hernia repair.

And yes I did remember to bring my kindle! And funny.... I forgot my phone charger but it seems as though the previous person left theirs behind!
