It's a town in the Outback. It's actually a very interesting place I am told. A lot of the people in the town live underground because it is so hot there during the summer, and it is a famous opal mining town.

Oh, thank you, Pat! I couldn't believe the photos of the underground homes! My parents used to do some interesting things when we were kids - book us for nights in cave hotels and wigwams - but an underground home takes the cake!

Interesting. I can remember reading a book about a girl who faked her own death and ended up living in an underground home in Australia. Baggage by Emily Barr, I think it was.
