Yeah there was something fishy going on on Monday because all anxiety has since left. Just a weird thing.
I guess the worst thing today is that it is dark and dreary outside!

Divia and Nefret-have you ever thought of trying online dating? I've had several friends find their spouses that way. Just a thought. And perhaps for a little inspiration (which might not mean anything if you are in the UK) http://www.people.com/people/article/0, ... 90,00.html[/quote]
Two of my sisters met their husbands online as well.

Yesterday was the last day before winter break. Everyone was so excited and counting down the minutes. I saw no joy. I was like I don't care about having a week off.
I'm really not in good form.

Diane, hope you're feeling better today. Road rage is such a bummer.
Divia, so sorry your life sucks at the moment. Lots of people have given you great advice, so I won't repeat that. Just know that you do have friends who care about you. If you want to catch a train to NYC during your break, let me know. We could get together, go to a museum, walk in the park, whatever you're up for.

Many thanks, y'all. The tech doing my x-rays was almost hilariously, ahm - pragmatic - about it yesterday, saying, "Oh, it's going to get MUCH worse over the next few days" (I wryly thanked her for being Miss Mary Sunshine, but she *was* amusing - I don't really do Precious Bedside Manner, so it was fine), but fortunately she appears to be somewhat incorrect. The best news is I have lateral movement in my neck, so I *can* still drive. And, in fact, the seat of my car (great lumbar support) is better than any of my all-too cushy living room furniture, in a way. The taillights are gone, though (brake lights AOK) so I can't risk anything at night. Boo, hiss.
Most of the pain has radiated now to my back, and to up/down issues in the neck. The headache is coming and going, which I can take. I am, in the end, far more fortunate than the other driver, even with injuries. For her, this is going to be a financial and driving hardship. She was cited, not I - so all I have to do is wrangle. I won't be paying for any of this. I'd hardly have asked for the accident, but am grateful to be as lucky as I have been. Even keeping her in my prayers, because, frankly, at a guess she's someone who needs it.
Today, no worsts to add to the thread. I need to get out of this living room furniture, so am actually probably about to go wander some antique shops to keep myself upright, and head to the grocery ahead of a winter storm set for tomorrow. May everyone here find reasons to end up in the "Best Thing" thread this weekend ...

I'm in the ER at Harborview in Seattle W/mom, she fell and hit her head, the EMTs were concerned cause they don't have the kind of equipment the hospital has on the island in case it was something bas. We'll still waiting for some tests, the waiting is a pain, even more so cause I have a migraine. Sigh!

Trying to contact somebody I used to know. Pretty sure I was forgotten.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
