The Worst Thing Today
Re: The Worst Thing Today
So sorry for your loss, MLE. It's always hard losing our pet and working animal friends. Hugs!

We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Re: The Worst Thing Today
MLE, I am late to offer my condolences, but you gave Josh the kindest goodbye. We all should be so fortunate.
My stepfather has been enduring an extremely slow and hideous decline; it feels like he has been dying for a very long time now. Yesterday, having been in bed for four and a half days, he not only got up and got dressed, but he decided to drive. In the dark. In the rain. This is NOT a "good sign"; it is terrifying in the extreme. This is such a difficult time, and I am worried to death about my mom. I have been praying that the best may come for them both.

I feel for your Mom, Diane. My dear friend's husband has Huntington's disease, and her life gets more difficult every month.

Re: The Worst Thing Today
Thank you, MLE. My stepfather has become so dear to me, and he suffers so bitterly. He has shown immense grace, it's been a lesson to me. Mom, dealing with the onset of widowhood for a second time - just harrowing.
