My father lived in California and I don't think he's having a funeral (he told me he was donating his body to science) or a memorial, but my sister was too distraught to articulate much on the phone last night. Flying would just be too expensive, not to mention a chore.
Hopefully my sister will call with more information about what is going to happen. It's hard being in the dark.
