Candlelight - The Maccabeats - Hanukkah

Post by Misfit » Tue December 7th, 2010, 2:03 am

I did post this link a few days ago on Ash's Hanukkah thread but just in case anyone missed it this is too good not to miss and these lads are taking the *net* by storm. Whatever your religious persuasion, the lads can sing up a storm and I love the video. I've lost count how many times I've played it. They've been making the rounds of the morning shows this week. Over 2,000,000 hits and growing constantly.

Yes they are. They made the CBS early show (among others). How cool is it to have an group of student and alumni get together and produce a video with at last count well over 2,000,000 hits on YouTube?

I love that one, but my 3 year old loves it more. She'll watch that video ten times in a row.

Let's see if they can hit 3,000,000 views by week end.

BTW, be very careful clicking on additional a cappella videos there. You'd be surprised what's out there. Major time suck :o

My son was watching it in French class last week - or was it English? At either rate, it sparked some conversation with the Jewish students in class and turned into a learning experience.
