Sorry to be AWOL....

Post by Chatterbox » Sat May 15th, 2010, 4:20 am

Hi gang,

Just a quick note to bring you folks up to speed. I'm immersed in book mania right now. My book about Wall Street is due out on June 15, having been pushed up by 2 weeks because of the upheaval re Goldman Sachs, and it's been as much as I can do to keep up with the marketing people and my regular work, so everything else is suffering. I'm away this coming week, and when I get back I think it's just going to get worse until the end of June. On the plus (???) side, I may be popping up in book reviews, radio shows or TV stuff near you... Basically, my publishers own my carcase from now until July 1 or so. Pls keep your fingers crossed that it goes well, I'll duck in when I can for a dose of sanity and be back full-time in July....

Good luck with it all. It's the same here on a lesser scale in that as from next week until June 24th I am on book tours all over the place and trying to write and admin at the same time. Total empathy from this neck of the woods. I'll see you out the other end of the forest if we both make it through - LOL!

I was about ready to check up on you until I'd seen you posting still on FB. Sounds much too stressful.

Happy touring and interviewing to our own very successful Chatterbox and EC!

Those descriptions make me glad my writing isn't going anywhere just now. Sending thoughts of relaxing bubble baths your way. (as well as congratulatory virtual chocolate)

Great, I'll find it online. Will there be a UK edition?

That all sounds most excellent, Chatterbox, well done! A very good reason to be AWOL IMO...

Oh, all right then! I give you my permission (leave) to go and do other things. That means that you will not be AWOL at all! Hurry back! :D
