I'm still allowed there. I see there are still people posting there and new members joining and introducing themselves.
Should I post a message?

(I also want to nab my reviews before they disappear).

I PM'd Stevent as well this morning. The comments we post seem to last an hour or two tops before being deleted.

I just noticed there's an administrator thread from Miranda on the old forum?
It says Today and that historical fiction discussion should be kept to a minumum? Or am I reading this all wrong and it's an old post and I've finally gone bonkers in my menopause!

Well that's interesting. The moderator thread I saw has gone now. The person who'd posted there was called Miranda, Princess of Good intentions and there were over a thousand posts logged to her. The suggestion was that Historical fiction not be talked about and that the forum be merged - not sure with what. But it's disappered now.

I donate to AW so I would not have any problems doing so here.

Would I then receive the title of Emperor? :D

No I saw it too. Looked like maybe one of the original moderators?

A couple of the original moderators have evidently stuck with the old board. Which is fine--whatever direction they take it in, there's room for both boards in cyberspace. (Though naturally I prefer our board.)

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

what is the difference between 'admin' and 'moderator'? Miranda used to me a moderator, but on that post, she was admin. Could it be that she bought the old forum to get it up and running again? I somebody over there would just tell me what was going on, they would find I'm always happy to cooperate with someone of good will.
