Funny picture from Work Party

Post by zsigandr » Sat May 2nd, 2009, 8:01 pm

We currently had our year end work awards ceremony and party. The theme this year was Denim & Diamonds so many were dressed up as cowboys and saloon girls. I had promised that I would be a saloon girl, but due to a wardrobe malfunction, I had to improvise and go as a cowboy!

Many laughs were had at my expense and most people had no clue who I was until I sat with my co-workers. My new nick name is Beau Bridges whom my co-workers claim that I look like in this photo.

Thought I would share a laugh - if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at? ;)

The link isn't working for me Andrea, but I have to say I like your attitude!

Nice disguise! I'm trying to imagine just what sort of wardrobe malfunction your saloon girl costume might have had though. And I've always loved Beau Bridges - especially as Major Folly in an older movie called Swashbuckler!

The wardrobe malfunction involved over zealously cutting the costume shorter. I really should learn to measure before I cut! Being the procrastinator that I am sometimes, I left the completion of my costume until the evening before the party. Thus the quick stop at the party shop for the hat, mustache and the side burns I turned into eyebrows!

That is a funny picture. Who knew sideburns would make such great eyebrows?
