Perhaps, but it was short and they only have the one opening. So, I dunno.

Had another interview, and this place might actually hire me.

Good luck, Nefret! My daughter is still out there slogging. Her most recent interviewer at a coffee shop asked "Why would you want to work here?" Her answer: "I need a job." She didn't hear back.

Best of luck to you, Nefret, and Faith, for your daughter as well. If something doesn't happen within about two weeks or so, I may lose my next-door neighbor, after almost 20 months' unemployment. There is no justice.

Today would have been our twentieth anniversary. When I emailed him to send many happy returns, my ex (obviously, now one of my most cherished friends) wished me "a day that sparkles and pleases" ...

He's a dork, my ex, but an unmitigated peach. He once called me "a wonderful bag of things."

We're not divorced because he's unlovable. I'm grateful for him.

Went to a festival, got a free lunch, did some paining, hear some good music. Unfortunately, that also came with a sunburn.

Good day at work, and there is the possibility that Elizabeth Chadwick may consent to let me interview her on my little backwater of a blog ... :) SHORT week this week, too! Woot.
