So I posted a really long response about our vacation yesterday only to see it never posted! GRRRRRR!
We had a fantastic time! WV wouldn't normally be my ideal vacation spot, but really, it is a beautiful state. We hiked 35+ miles in 3 days, went zip lining, which was amazing, and just relaxed. Overall, a perfect vacation. Padfoot had a blast too, although he was pretty exhausted at the end of the day. He was so excited to be home he ran around the house with each of his toys. It was hystarical. I took many pictures which I will post sometime.

- Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

That's what we're planning on, MLE. Now the naming wars can begin. Our oldest keeps throwing out Celtic names that only he would remember, and I can't imagine a dog responding to. I prefer more standard things like Sam, Fred, Jack, Frodo. I suggested Conq for William the Conqueror. That got a laugh.
