The best thing today
Diane, I understand about the dog. My mother's dearest friend had a German Shepherd gal named Lady. Lady was a very sweet, nice dog but she was convinced she was a lap dog. When she got too big to sit in laps, she'd sit up beside a person on the sofa and drape a paw around the person's neck. Mother was terrified of dogs but, Lady was such a, well lady about it, that she never seemed to mind her friendly gesture.
Having my bread turn out nicely in culinary lab. Not much... but I like to think of myself as a baker.
That sounds like VERY much to me! I love love love a good loaf of fresh baked bread - and love making it. Hmm, must do that again! You're inspiring me.

I guess it might be, I hadn't made yeast bread in a while.

Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Nefret, I wonder how many people you got dreaming of the beautiful scent of baked bread!
My best thing today - multiple niggling plumbing issues fixed. The major one - the dripping tub faucet - remains to be addressed (some complicated issues due to the age of my home and thickness of my walls), but still a nice piece of progress.

I had yesterday off to enjoy with the hubby and Padfoot. We hadn't seen each other except for brief ten minute intervals in two weeks. We spent the day going for a long walk, watching movies, and going out to dinner.
Now to prepare for a family bake off my dad decided to start this year. We'll see how it goes.
