Congratulations MLE!

I came home today from Amsterdam, Holland. We had great time and I loved the city! We had few days in Stockholm, Sweden too.
I could have spent more time thr but it was nice to be home too :)

Discovered that a little bird has built her nest in the light fixture right outside my front door. There's at least one egg that I can see. Spring! :)

*rubs hands with glee*

Was reminded of an old deadbeat who stiffed for a rather large NSF check. Went checking him on the state's business listings. I do believe I've found the little darling with a brand new busines... :D
At home with a good book and the cat...
...is the only place I want to be

Great celebration today of a Victory Day. I live on the eighteenth floor, so i can see a lot of the city from my window, and the sky was lit with multiple fireworks. And i saw helicopters with flags heading for the Victory Parade in the morning. Anyway, great celebration for a great day. And i'm back from my Carphatian mountains journey - i think i'll post some photos later. It was beautiful there and i love my friends :) Our hosts were very friendly in a Ukranian village sort of way, so they stuffed us with food and heavy alcohol :)

@Misfit: this is why you like Amazon detective work - you do it in real life too! :p :D

@Sintra: love to hear more about the Carpathians. Did you hear/see any wolves when you were there (not ones you might have imagined after too much vodka!)? ;-)

For me today:

Spartacus manuscript at 100k words. Check.
Editor very happy. Check.
Go ahead given for Spartacus Book Two. Check.
Day off in celebration. Check.
Reading a great Roman novel. Check.

Happy days!

Congrats, Ben! BTW, also reading a great Roman novel; something called The Forgotten Legion. :)

The little bird's nest by my front door has three baby birds. I think they must have hatched just today, they look very new. :) :) :)
