Great celebration today of a Victory Day. I live on the eighteenth floor, so i can see a lot of the city from my window, and the sky was lit with multiple fireworks. And i saw helicopters with flags heading for the Victory Parade in the morning. Anyway, great celebration for a great day. And i'm back from my Carphatian mountains journey - i think i'll post some photos later. It was beautiful there and i love my friends Our hosts were very friendly in a Ukranian village sort of way, so they stuffed us with food and heavy alcohol

@Misfit: this is why you like Amazon detective work - you do it in real life too!
@Sintra: love to hear more about the Carpathians. Did you hear/see any wolves when you were there (not ones you might have imagined after too much vodka!)?
For me today:
Spartacus manuscript at 100k words. Check.
Editor very happy. Check.
Go ahead given for Spartacus Book Two. Check.
Day off in celebration. Check.
Reading a great Roman novel. Check.
Happy days!
