A woman in mine and Misfit's state left her 1 year old baby in a car today while she was working and the baby died:

This happens every summer in my area. This time of year, its not unusual for temps to get into the 90s. I don't know if the heat warps the brains of parents, but its often in those days that we see this happen - three or four times a year. Another horrific thing - how can parents forget their child. That being said - I can see how it happens. Dad needs to drop kid off at day care. He has a ton of stuff on his mind, kid is asleep, and he parks his car and runs to the office. Its not until he gets a call from day care....

Then again, there's the woman who took her dog out of the car and went to go shopping, leaving the kid in the car. Thank goodness someone saw the kid, called the cops, and she was arrested when she returned, clueless that she did anything wrong.

Praying for the kids isn't going to do anything for these poor children. Pray for our society, that we get a [email protected]#$ing clue.
