This picture is part of a huge panoramic painting in Istanbul which marks the Fall of Constantinople.Great Picture Annis.
You can see how the 'banded' walls of Caernavon castle were inspired by those of Constantinople, which Edward 1 and his entourage would have seen or heard about.

Last year Millvina Dean was forced to sell her "Titanic" souvenirs to cover her nursing home costs- rather sad.

Hi Annis
I have been on the site and it really is great! BUT. I can't get to drag out the sides or up and down - the zoom works though. What am I doing wrong?
