What Are You Reading? April 2022

Spring is here! Share your April reads.
From the library: The Tsarina's Daughter by Ellen Alpsten
Empress Elizabeth, daughter of Peter the Great and Catherine 1, narrates her rise to the Russian throne. The new novel is the sequel to Tsarina.

Scroll down the page to see the UK and international covers for these two novels! The US edition of The Tsarina's Daughter features a red ribbon and the heroine facing a wintry landscape.

I’m reading Smoke and Cracked Mirrors by Karen Charlton, the first in The York Ladies Detective Agency set in 1940.

Via Pigeonhole I’m reading The Trial of Lotta Rae by Siobhan MacGowan, a story set during the Suffragette movement in Victorian London combining fact with fiction.

My other books are also ancient history non fiction or biographies.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
