What are you reading? December 2021

I’m reading The Forgotten Maid by Jane Cable. It’s the first book in the Cornish Echoes Dual Timeline Mystery series. It’s set in Belgium in 1815 and in Cornwall in 2015.

And via Pigeonhole I’m reading The Visitors by Caroline Scott. This one is also set in Cornwall but this time in 1923. A young woman newspaper article writer goes to stay with an eccentric group of men, former soldiers and artists, whilst caring for one of their sisters. A family drama type tale.

I’m now reading The Healer’s Betrayal by Helen Pryke via Pigeonhole. It’s part of a family sagaseries apparently, although I haven’t read any of the others, about the Innocentis. Bt his one is set in the 1600s and is about witchcraft.
