I’m reading The Devil & the Dark Water by Stuart Turton. Murder mystery set in 1634 on a boat sailing from the Dutch East Indies to Amsterdam. My copy is an ebook ARC and I’m finding it a bit weird to read. Nothing to do with the story, just the way the text is set out and the addition of numerals in odd places! I’ve placed a hold on a copy of the ebook at the library so that I can read it more easily! For the time being I will battle on!

I’m also reading The Secret Keeper’s Daughter by Samantha King via the Piveonhole app. It’s a contemporary family drama.

Finished from the library: Travels with George by Nathaniel Philbrick (NF)
The author retraced George Washington's travels as president. It was fun seeing all the places I've lived over years!

A comparable title I'd read was George Washington's 1791 Southern Tour by Warren Bingham (History Press, 2016)

I'm just about to start "The Long Call" by Ann Cleeves, the first in a new crime series set in Devon.

I’m reading The Wind Chime by Alexandra Walsh, the first in the Timeshift Victorian Mystery series.

I’m also reading Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr via the Pigeonhole app, a three time framed story connected to an ancient codex. The title is very apt! :D

Now reading A Woman Made of Snow by Elisabeth Gifford, a dual timeframe mystery set in the present day and the 19thC in Scotland. It’s a Pigeonhole read.
