I’m reading A Typical Family Christmas by Liz Davies, which is self explanatory! Light and humorous. I’m also reading Close to Home by Cara Hunter via the Pigeonhole app. It’s the first in the DI Fawley Thriller series. This one is about an eight year old girl who goes missing ar a barbecue party. It was the first stave today but so far so good.

I’m reading Josephine: Singer, Dancer, Soldier Spy by Eilidh McGinness, a story based on the life of Josephine Baker. I’m finding it interesting as I didn’t know much about her.

I have a friend in L.A. who is planning to do a documentary on Josephine Baker. She lived an amazing life, and I'm hoping he can cobble together the financing and make it happen.

Started Christmas at Highclere by the Countess of Carnarvon (NF)
In this lovely new book, Lady Carnarvon shares the Christmas traditions of Highclere Castle. Take a look:

I've removed the jacket to keep it crisp and for easier reading.

I just finished Celia Garth by Gwen Bristow. I think I've read all her books now except for 1 or 2.

I just started Sword of Kings by Bernard Cornwell.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
