Listening to Les Miserables on Audible, narrated by the awesome George Guidall. You download it in 7 parts it's so massive! Working on part 1 now.

Just curious, how long did it take you to read the unabridged book? I think the audiobook will take about 60 hours to go through!

I read the novel in junior high school; it took me a few weeks to read it. I was taking French at the time so I could understand some of the untranslated phrases in the text.

Of interest, a short play titled "The Bishop's Candlesticks" by Norman McKinnel is adapted from a chapter in the novel.

"The Bear and the Nightingale" by Katherine Arden, and "The Darkness" by Ragnar Jonasson - two very wintry settings, in Russia and Iceland.
