Not HF and a bit political, so I won't name it (hint, author one's last name is Isikoff.
At home with a good book and the cat...

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

Still up to my eyebrows in research books. But I noticed that they finally digitized Elswyth Thane's Williamsburg series, so I am also enjoying Dawn's Early Light.

After watching and enjoying the first two seasons of The Last Kingdom on Netflix, I’ve started re-reading Bernard Cornwell’s Saxon Stories from the very beginning. I had only read up to book five years ago, so I hope to catch up on all the later ones.
