Marilla Cuthbert's life as a young woman at Green Gables. A bit of her backstory briefly was mentioned in the Anne of Green Gables series.

This sounds good! Probably need to reread Anne of Green Gables first. It's only been 50+ years & I don't remember all that much.

The Mountain, by Helen Bryan, sequel to The Valley which was about some of the first settlers in America. This continues the story of the town of Grafton in Virginia starting in 1783 and carries on through what must be the most turbulent time of US history. It’s release date is 3rd Sep I think and it looks like it will be available on Kindle Unlimited. The first one is also available on that platform.
