This was my year of Louise Penny. I read 12 of her 13 Chief Inspector Armand Gamache mysteries. I read the first one last year. I LOVE Inspector Gamache!

I don't show any in 2017 that totally rocked my world, the only solid across the board read was Patricia Veryan's Tales of the Jewelled Men series.

Re: Favorite books read in 2017
Hi,
Well, after reminding what I had read in 2017, I can define some favorite recently-published books.
"In a quiet pool," by Paula Hawkins
"The History of Solitude," by John Boyne
"The Girl from Brooklyn", by Guillaume Musso
"Scandinavian gods," by Neil Gaiman
But it's only my opinion. Moreover, these ones are 2017-published books, but I also read some other favorite books published before.
