That's what I was just going to ask you! Since I retired from teaching on January 1, I don't have to go back to school next week!!!Misfit wrote:Where did August go???
Currently reading The Stars Are Fire by Anita Shreve, recommended to me by a friend. So far, so good!

Last night I started "Ashes of London" by Andrew Taylor, by a spooky coincidence on the same day that the fire of London started ie 2nd September. How's that for a bit of serendipity?

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, Madeleine. I'm a big fan of Andrew Taylor's books.

I think it went up in smoke!Misfit wrote:Where did August go???
I'm still reading The Boy Who Wanted Wings. It's competently written, but so much is happening right now (dh just retired, and we're getting through the mountains of paperwork) I just can't seem to get my head into anything new. So I'm re-reading familiar things on my kindle.
