The Time Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England by Ian Mortimer (NF)
#2 in his "Time Traveler's Guide" series (Click the hypertext link to see the books and descriptions)

I borrowed this book and his earlier The Time Traveler's Guide to Medieval England from the library. Of interest, The Time Traveler's Guide to Restoration England is currently available in hardback.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

I listened to that one on audiobook. I loved his detail. The one that really stayed with me was they way they 'washed with linen'.

I keep meaning to read that one.

Just started "The Waters of Eternal Youth" by Donna Leon.
