The Time Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England by Ian Mortimer (NF)
#2 in his "Time Traveler's Guide" series (Click the hypertext link to see the books and descriptions)
I borrowed this book and his earlier The Time Traveler's Guide to Medieval England from the library. Of interest, The Time Traveler's Guide to Restoration England is currently available in hardback.

- Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
- Location: California Bay Area

I listened to that one on audiobook. I loved his detail. The one that really stayed with me was they way they 'washed with linen'.princess garnet wrote:The Time Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England by Ian Mortimer (NF)
