Today's bargain is Alice I Have Been by Melanie Benjamin, $1.99. About the girl who served as the model for Alice in Wonderland. I have heard good things about this one.

Yes, I agree! I enjoyed this one very much. The setting is Oxford, UK where Charles Dodgson was a mathematics professor and Alice Liddell's father was the Dean of Christ Church, Oxford.

Today's deal is The Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Great read. $1.99 on Amazon. Also something called the Agincourt Bride by Joanna Hickson. No clue if it's any good--for some reason, I can't get past the cover. Creepy eyeballs.
