I loved this book, one of my all-time favourites, lovely. Hope you like it.

I thought Miss Garnet's Angel was a beautifully written book and I loved the descriptions of Venice. However, I did find some of it a little tedious and I thought Miss Garnet was quite dreary! I liked the little twist at the end, though, when everything sort of clicked! And I like the thought that dogs were quite revered - I found some points very interesting. I think it could be one of those books which could do with a re-read!

I'll be starting Spill Simmer Falter Wither by Sara Baume later. It's a book I've received via Lovereading.co.uk to read and review. It's about a dog so a great follow up to Miss Garnet's Angel!! Couldn't have timed it better! :D

I remember it being quite whimsical, and I'd forgotten about the dog.

About a third of the way into "Demelza", the second Poldark novel.

Oh definitely!
After the first book, I was only so-so about the series and wondered what the fuss was about. But I decided to carry on and I'm loving the second book and definitely plan to read the rest of the series.
I probably won't watch either of the adaptations till I'm done.
