I finished Bruce Lancaster's Guns of Burgoyne last night and have started Gabaldon's Echo in the Bone. I've also got John Brick's The King's Rangers on my nightstand and hope to start it soon.

Just finished The Shivering Sands by Victoria Holt. Loved it, probably the best of hers I've read yet. Just downloaded the Days of Winter by Cynthia Freeman from the library.

Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Reread-- Maids of Misfortune by Louisa Locke. And because it was a Kindle freebie, Jane Eyre. Unabridged. Goodness, the language is tedious!

I finished Ransom today. Those last few chapters were very emotional. That was a great book though.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I thought The Devil in the Marshalsea was very good. Read next The Rising by Brian McGilloway. Now reading Iron Night by M.L. Brennan. These books are fun.
